PNP ARREST LEADER OF KIDNAP FOR RANSOM GROUP On October 16, 2014 at about 9:23 PM, operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Group and Abra Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested Reccinte Padillo @Teng, leader of the “Padillo KFRG” at the Pinecrest 1, Newport Residential Resort, Pasay City by virtue of WOA issued by Hon. Judge Bernelito R. Fernandez of RTC Branch 97, Quezon City for Kidnapping-for-Ransom docketed under Criminal Case No. R-QZN-13-02485. PADILLO is included in the AKG list of Top Most Wanted Kidnapper for 2014 for his involvement in the kidnapping of businesswoman Sally Chua last July 5, 2013 in Quezon City. Ms. Chua, while in captivity was transported to Davao City by her kidnappers, where she was rescued by AKG operatives and Davao City PNP. Also arrested during the operation were his live-in partner, Yasmin Cruz; and, driver/bodyguard, Ivan Estrella who both have a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Large Scale Estafa docketed under Criminal Case No. R-QZN-13-02485-CR. Likewise, another warrant of arrest was issued by Hon. Judge Corpuz Alzarte of RTC Branch 2, Bangued, Abra against the arrested persons for the crime of Large Scale Estafa with Criminal Case No. 2014-159 filed by Hon. Marco Bautista and Mr. Rodolfo Bernardez IV, Municipal Mayor of San Juan and Ex-Municipal Mayor of Bucay, Abra, respectively.
