POLITICAL BROKERS. Deputy President William Ruto aptly described - TopicsExpress

POLITICAL BROKERS. Deputy President William Ruto aptly described Nandi Hills MP as a political broker. Billionaire David Langat (popularly known as DHL) is the Kalenjin businessman who is financing the Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter 31, to cause trouble in Jubilee. Apparently, Langat is mad at Ruto in particular for not returning the favor by ensuring he and his business associates got the big tenders from the government. The Mombasa based businessman had hoped to broker the multibillion rail tender, which the government gave direct to the Chinese. Apparently DHL financed URP campaigns in the last general election and has been disappointed that he hasnt got anything in return. He has given Nandi Hills MP Keter tons of money to cause trouble within Jubilee. David Langat is from the Nandi Hills constituency where Alfred Keter represents and he financed Keter during the URP nominations and also during the elections. His tea factories (DL Koisagat) are located in the constituency. The Deputy President was born in 1966 is from Uasin Gishu County(Eldoret) and attended the University of Nairobi, where he received a BSc(Botany and Zoology) graduating in 1990.He was ranked the best student in his class. He later enrolled for Msc in Environmental Science graduating in 2011. He is currently pursuing PHD degree from the same University. No ordinary fellow. If you have carefully observed Afred Keter speeches, he tries as much as possible to imitate the DP in expression, body language and delivery. He is doing it so well, at first I thought it was an actor or the Bulls Eye.The young man desperately wants to dislodge Ruto as the Kalenjin kingpin. Hard luck!
