POLITICAL ROADMAP PROPOSED BY EGYPT’s MILITARY If Egypt’s political forces cannot agree to share power by the set deadline today the Defence Minister Army General Abdel FattahAl-Sisi will implement the following plan: The Constitution will be suspended and Parliament will be dissolved, An interim council will be set up consisting of civilians from the various political parties and experienced technocrats ("experts" in the fields of their respective ministries) to run the country, possible head of State will be the President of the Constitutional Court, Adli Mansour. Over the coming months a new constitution will be written, followed by Presidential elections. Parliamentary polls will be delayed until strict conditions for selecting candidates are in force.
