POLITICS IN MY STATE: CAN YOU SEE WHAT THE YOUTHS ARE GOING THROUGH! It is unforgivable for Sen. Danjuma Goje to decamp to APC simply because he knew very well that he has lost grip of the party that made him, PDP. It shows that Goje will rather leave his home state just to remain relevance in politics. Well, that is not the issue. What if those young and vibrant politicians are force to leave the party simply, because they seemed to be more promising than the big fishes. Imagine a situation where the likes of Hon. Khamis Mailantarki, one of the few young politicians in my state that I cherish his spirit of tolerance. He worked for CPC religiously and relates very well with almost all his oppositions, he was bashed from left, right and centered, youths were hired to attack him on several occasions. He has use his own resources to support every other youths that is opportune to come seeking for financial support. The most recent and humiliating experience is the way and manner Sen. Danjuma Goje bullied he and forcefully sidelined him from the APC platform in Gombe. Hon. Khamis was the only individual from the State that is known to be a National figure from the opposition coming from Gombe State, he was the sole financier of the CPC before the merger. When Sen. Goje decamped to the APC, without courtesy, he was expecting an unprincipled bowing down from the young man. Knowing Sen. Goje very well, Hon. Khamis stood firm to reiterate the need for decorum and adherence to party ideology. His standpoint was misinterpreted and translated to disrespect to the self-acclaimed Gombe Political godfather, Sen. Danjuma Goje. Today, Hon. Mailantarki and other diehard members of all the political party that made up the APC are thrown out. The present structure of the APC in Gombe consist of only those individuals that are known to be Gojes boys and loyalists, some of them are individuals that are loyal to some people in PDP. One may wonder if truly Sen. Goje is sincere in his pursuit as a party stalwart or it is his own selfish interest. In view of the above, the Hon. Mailantarki supporters and sympathizers are asking him to also decamp to PDP. They claimed that Gojes presence in APC will not in anyway help the party instead, it will be another ground where political thuggery will be promoted. GOING BY RECENT RESPONSES COMING FROM THE PUBLIC AGAINST PARTY DECAMPEES, IF HON. KHAMIS WILL LISTEN TO HIS SUPPORTERS, WHAT WILL BE THE POSITION OF APC NATIONAL LEVEL AND CAN THE ELECTORATES FORGIVE HIM FOR DECAMPING TO PDP?
