POPS DAY OUT... I had the pleasure of guiding Tommy, Mr. Bill aka Pops (who is 89 years young), and Ken. Tommy fishes with me regularly, but this trip was about his dad, and that mission was accomplished in 2 stops. Pops had the hot rod and showed everyone up on the boat. The bite wasn’t super fast but steady enough to have 75 pretty trout chilling in the box by 10am. It was another great day fishing in Louisiana just minutes out of New Orleans in Breton Sound. All fish were caught with 13 Fishing Green Omen and Envy Rods teamed up with FINS WINDTAMER BRAID on live shrimp on 3/8 oz Carolina rigs. Summer is here and booking fast.
