• POSITION TITLE : Manager STG (Steam Turbine) • DEPARTMENT : Contract Management • REPORTS TO : Country Contract Manager • LOCATION : Head Office (Lahore) • JOB TYPE : Permanent Ingress: Manager STG required in Wartsila Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd to cater the existing STG business in Pakistan and to enhance competence of plant staff on Operation & Maintenance of steam system. Main Responsibilities: • Perform field inspections and oversee field measurements and data collection. • Ensures company resources are used in a cost effective manner. • Support and emphasize the importance of safety and environmental programs and ensures compliance. • Participate and/or lead team that focus on specific problem areas or needs for generating units. • Initiates/participate in continuous improvement planning and implementation in assigned area of responsibility • Communicate with customers regarding condition of equipment and repair work scope • Coordinate activities with Vendors/Contractors, other divisions and departments • Prepare written reports in assigned area of responsibility • Perform technical duties in area of responsibility • May be required to direct the work activities of others • Recognize problems and is proactive in helping to resolve them • Perform root cause analysis of system and equipment problems • Develop and maintain technical specifications for purchase of replacement parts, vendor repairs and maintenance standards • Identify and implement new or existing repair technology in area of responsibility • Inspects completed work or work in progress to assure job quality, including off-site work performed by vendors at their facilities. • Assist in development of annual budget for area of responsibility QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Minimum 4 Years Mechanical Engineering degree + 1st Class Boiler Engineering degree, Marine Engineering 1st class or an equivalent qualification in a similar industry from HEC recognized institute. • Experience: Minimum of 7-8 years experience in turbine equipment maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting SKILLS • Communication skills • Problem Solving & decision making skills • Negotiation skills • Presentation skills • Coordination and man management skills • OHSAS Skills. • Leadership skills Excellent salary package and other benefits for the selected candidate.
