POSITIVE ANSWERS THROUGH SUBMISSIVE PRAYER OF FAITH But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb. 11: 6 And God granted him that which he requested. 1 Chron. 4: 10 To kneel is to conquer. Only the kneeling Christians can stand tall to challenge the activities of the devil and resist him. There are great possibilities through prayer. Prayer moves the hand of God that moves the universe. In his prayer, Jabez acknowledged his insufficiency, helplessness, absolute dependence upon God and admitted God’s sovereignty. Five requests emerged from his prayer namely, That God will bless him indeed Enlarge his coast The hand of the Lord will be with him That God will keep him from evil That it may not grieve him God granted all these requests and we have all the right and assurance in the world to believe that He, God, will also grant our own petition which we ask of him. What he said, he will do. The prayer of Jabez brought an end to shame and sorrow in his life; he became truly an honorable man. Jabez’s situation never remained the same after he prayed. Jabez did not consult any prophet to see vision for him. He simply believed if he could call on God in faith that God will answer him. Even before he finished the prayer, an Angel had already been waiting to grant him his desire. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65: 24
