Fundamentals of Technology Transfer: a workshop through the EU-funded IDEAL programme The Office of Grants and Contracts at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is pleased to invite you to a workshop on “Fundamentals of Technology Transfer” to be held on October 9 and 10, 2014 at AUB. The workshop aims to highlight the significance of intellectual property rights protection in research institutions and universities, as well as pinpoint the important role that transferring new technologies to industry can play in enhancing economic growth. This workshop is the last of a series of four training workshops through the EU-Tempus-funded project entitled: “Innovation and Development of Academic-Industry Partnerships through Efficient Research Administration in Lebanon” (IDEAL). The first session of day one of the workshop will focus on the evaluation of the previous trainings and will be administered to only those who attended this specific training.
