Knowledge and understanding of legislative, policy, procedures and processes related to youth in conflict with the law. Knowledge and Understanding of Secure Care Centre Service Delivery Model, procedures and policies. A valid driver’s licence. Skills and Competences: Sound communication, Problem solving Research and Networking skills, good report writing, Project Management, Planning and organizing skills. Knowledge of legislation, policies and ethical practices applicable in a secure care. Knowledge of Social Work empowerment interventions. DUTIES : Supervise and guide the design of diversion programme. Monitor the implementation of diversion in line legislative requirements. Supervise court preparations and reports. Supervise the implementation of perpetrator programmes. Supervise Life skills programmes. Guide and supervise home based and family preservation programmes. Conclude staff performance agreements and assessments. Manage 62 staff development, training and leave plans. Attend to staff grievances and disciplinary matters.
