POST #5 of 6. Depending on lifes circumstance, depending on where love takes us, and to who, it is possible for some bloodlines to be untraceable. Like they no longer exist. This can happen when our children marry an other than native person, and their kids do likewise, and so it goes on down the line. These things do happen. Today, the Ojibwa Medicine Woman said, and then it disappears I then, having heard that, then moved that part of our conversation into the spiritual nature of this loss, of having lost what could be understood as those who are partially of mixed blood. The Healer responded saying there is talk of a new people. The mixed blood may be that new people, she stated. Then she explained that when someone walks into the room, that persons spirit goes in before the body does. Sometimes there is no native spirit with that person. (I personally take a guess that this can happen with a person who may have a lot of native blood, but does not want the native aspect of ones life....maybe?) There are lots of people who have the mental idea of what a tribal person is, and/or of wanting and even believing in that mental idea. Perhaps it is something like many have the knowledge, but not all have the spirit. Sometimes, the mental aspect is there, but not the spiritual aspect. The Healer spoke of watching a women speak. She said that our words have water in it. She did not know if she was speaking of a tribal person or not. The Medicien Woman had seen a blue flow of colour coming from the women. Water. That women was giving of life. Later, there was a silver thread in the blue flow of life. The women then was giving of her own spirit. I know this particular post may cause sadness, anger, frustration in the lives of some people. But we do not want to overlook real truth, or leave it unstated to spare someones feelings. Here on this page, or on my main page where these posts are also going, a person either has the native spirit, or they do not. If we sincerely want to be a part of our nations, of our tribal ways, then we DO. I am going to take an extended break now. I am very tired. I will take a nap. When I awake I may write more beginning with Post 6 of 6.
