POST-OP DAY 4: Finally, rounds happened! Dylan is still doing pretty good. His LA pressures went up a little since the picture was posted of his vitals, but are still in normal limits. His blood pressure dropped a little low too, so they shut off the med that was helping lower it. They are going to do sprint pressure support trials on his ventilator to get his lungs some exercise. If everything goes good over the next couple of days, Tuesday could be the earliest for him to get his breathing tube out! Yay! I cannot wait until I can see his eyes, hold him again and snuggle in bed with him!! Keep praying for Dylan, and sending lots of love and positive energy! We love you!
