My official times are in for the birmingham triathlon . 1hr 18 for sprint distance . Swim went really well for me as its only my second open water event for this season . I was 8th out of 54 for my age category and 28th out of 336 for the mens sprint distance . I wouldnt recommend this tri though , you have to park five mins away from the site and walk with your bike and kit and public were walking over the running track and in the way of the bike transition area . The racking of the bikes was a free for all with no corresponding race numbers and the bike section was on paths that ran through Sutton park , of which I can only describe as equal state of the roads that run from brighstone to brook ! Still its all experience and put wight tri on the map
