POTO POTO POLITICS: APC has barely taken off and they are already speaking tough with verbal vituperation of PDP. I am not a politician but my understanding of politics that should produce results for the benefits of all should not be that of mudslinging and personalities but of issues. APC has started off rather on shaky note with attacks on personalities of the ruling party. The Office of the President of Nigeria is more of an institution and a symbol of Nigeria and an attack on the person of the occupier of that office is an attack on Nigerians. APC wants to wrestle power and are promising a better deal (most of which are mere rhetoric at the moment - since most of us do not have a clear view of what they intend to do better), they should concentrate on that and work more from inside out. Nigerians deserve a better deal but if this new party cannot coordinate itself well enough to get most people who voted for PDP to change their minds towards 2015, I wonder if the party will not have the kind of experience ACN had in Ondo State last year when they moved their headquarters to Akure with the intention of kicking Mimiko out of Akure Government House only to end up in distant 3rd position. The days of poto poto politics should be over whether in PDP, ACN or APGA. Nigeria is bigger than any individual and political party.
