POTTERY BARN – Santa Clara Pottery Barn Valley Fair is Now Hiring for the Following Positions: Design Studio Specialist * Sales Associate * Stock Associate * Visual Merchandiser * Interviews are conducted daily. Positions are available immediately! Min age 18. Design Studio Specialist *Use design expertise to assist clients during consultations in-store and in-home regarding the design of their spaces. *Create space plans by hand sketching and using the 2D Space Planner Tool. *Build lasting client relationships. Contact clients regarding new product arrivals, sales and decorating classes. *Make product, color and design recommendations to suit their style & needs. Sales Associate *Provide sincere, friendly and energetic customer service by exemplifying World-Class service standards. *Use effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity. *Assist customers with special services including: gift registry, locating merchandise, furniture orders. *Achieve established sales goals. Stock Associate *Exemplify the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers. *Scan shipment as delivered. Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries. *Organize stockroom by department and categories and stock merchandise on shelves or in offsite locations. Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear. *May assist on sales floor during peak times and as assigned. Visual Merchandiser *Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation, signage and general maintenance. *Straighten, clean and help maintain sales floor. *Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits. *Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions. Managers *Job description provided during interview. Requirements: *Able to be mobile for extended periods of time. *Associates must be available to work a minimum of three regularly scheduled shifts, one regularly scheduled shift during the weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday) and two regularly scheduled shifts during the weekends.
