Key Responsibility: 1- Participate with site team on Carrying out all electrical maintenance activities associated with defect and planned maintenance programmers. 2- Development of the short and long term electrical maintenance strategy for the plant and the development of a capable engineering, planning and electrical maintenance team to support that strategy. 3- Day to day plant efficient management of electrical maintenance activities, according to good utility practice, company rules and procedures, legal, contractual and other requirements. 4- Implement electrical maintenance practices and strategy in accordance with OEM and international standards with life cycle management for all major plant systems. 5- Responsible for the facility QA/QC, Root Cause Analysis Program. 6- Administers & carry out the Preventive / Predictive / Corrective Electrical Maintenance Programs through a computerized management program. 7- Establish the appropriate procedures and computerized electrical maintenance management processes as applicable to a prudent management regime. 8- Determines and schedules the manpower, tools and spares requirements for each electrical maintenance activity. 9- Efficient management of tools, spares and consumables inventory while controlling the risks to the business. 10- Assists in establishing the equipment master data and business processes. 11- Respects the O&M agreement with the Owner and other contractual obligations. 12- Ensure that the plant meets availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets, safely and within the environmental, legal and contractual requirements. 13- Adherence to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards. 14- Organizes risk analysis for the electrical maintenance tasks. 15- Succession planning for key staff. 16- Takes a lead role in implementing performance management processes within the electrical maintenance team. 17- Establish and implement vertical/horizontal communication with his colleagues in the electrical maintenance team to ensure members are well informed and remain engaged with the business. 18- Prepares specifications, plans and administers Third Party Contracts and other electrical maintenance contracts. 19- Works closely with inspection and overhaul contractors and provides them with all the necessary support; QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Qualifications: 1- An accredited Electrical Engineering degree 2- Demonstrated competence at engineering level supported by relevant education and training. 3- Experience: 1- At least 5 year experience in the maintenance of a large combined cycle power and water plant or HV, LV substations. 2- Experience on team working. 3- Experience with protection relays & schemes (ABB ,Siemens ) 4- Use of computerized management system 5- Use Engineering concepts and principles 6- Interaction with purchasing, finance and accounting, maintenance, administration and HR Skills: Behavioral: 1- Drive to achieve results through himself and others 2- Ability to build and work with multi cultural and multi disciplinary staff. 3- Ability to work together with the other departments in order to achieve the best result for the company 4- Take ownership. 5- Maintains high ethics standard. 6- Respects the others as well as the cultural diversity Language: • English Language: excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Arabic is an advantage; IT: • Computer literate: must have a high degree of skill in Business Computing Applications such as Databases, Word Processors, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint To Apply: Interested candidates are requested to kindly send us their CVs by email tokuwaitccgtplant@gmail as soon as possible.
