POWER TO ALL GODs CHILDREN, NOT JUST THE CHOSEN FEW In Acts 1:8, the Lord Jesus said to His disciples, You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witnesses... From this scripture, we see plainly that every believer is a candidate for the infilling with the Holy Spirit and an Ambassador of the Kingdom of God in spreading its message and power. The problem comes in when this power is confined to the chosen few and the rest of the Body of Christ, which is the Church are made to idolize, serve and depend on the few for their daily victory, sustenance and survival. This was never meant to be as Mark 16 clearly says, these signals will follow those who believe (not just the preacher). Please let us, preachers, stop patronizing the flock of The Lord Jesus and begin equipping them for the work of the ministry that they have to carry out according to Ephesians 4:11 clearly commands: And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature maturity, to the measure of the stature of vthe fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ PEACE
