PPP model idea on the verge of being abandoned by The AAI because of Union rejection and state Government non cooperation I would like to ask the Union and The government. Was the airport made for your filthy asses to slack off in the plush new building?Why Is it again that passenger comfort is being put second before the ridiculous outbursts of Unions and MPs? It took 6 years. Yes. 6 years for Kolkata airport to be completed. 2007,when the first brick was laid. 2013, finally completed, thanks to the generous non cooperation of the slacking lazy pathetic unions. And now, when we are in the position to be proud of our Citys airport again, the Government and unions start their rubbish. go take a look at Delhi and Hyderabad. You would happily want to live there. So many amenities, so few backlogs and zero tolerance towards lack of maintenance. God bless this damned state. The gateway to the world, and it is being shuffled around for political gains by the government and unions. Never will Kolkata and Chennai see,a proper well maintained airport with absolute passenger comfort. Bravo West Bengal.
