PRACTISE OF SELFLESS SACRIFICIAL LOVE IN MARRIAGE The place of Selfless Sacrificial love in marriage can not be over emphasized. Love is can be profitably practiced when addressed from the following areas: 1. Treat your spouse with a sense of humour. Let your spouse be excited in your presence. 2. Talk to your spouse in the level of his or her understanding, learn to be quiet when anyone is talking, allow the person to express his or her mind and respond with the language of reason not imposition. Your spouse is not your slave but your pride and pillar. 3. Tenderly handle your spouse especially your wife, she may be harsh, loud, audacious but know that she still need your tenderly care. You need wisdom and grace to live amicably with your spouse. 4. Teach your spouse what you know, your spouse may not be as educated as you are but there is something he or she knows more than you, so humble yourself to learn from one another. 5. Tease your spouse often, do not be serious every time, laugh, jump, dance, sing and play together. Send funny cartoons to one another. Even if your are a military man, laugh with your family and be joyful. 6. Touch your spouse to feel her health condition, be the first to touch her not the doctor, feel her body and make her smile before leaving for work. 7. Table matters in a peaceful and possible mindset; let your spouse know that no matter the situation in the family, there is a way out. Argument should be minimized and avoided if possible. 8. Think subjectively, put your self in the position of your spouse, see what he or she is seeing, and bring out the possibilities, but where you can’t see any, and then apply wisdom to spell out the limits. 9. Take your spouse along with you in all your plans and programs; never be too spiritual or intelligent that you now sideline your spouse in your affairs. 10.
