BIBLE STUDY Date:12/1/14 TOPIC: Restoration Part 2 Restoration: In the context of this teaching restoration is what you discover to be yours that is not in your custody which must be returned to its rightful position. In other words it`s like a man fighting for justice in the area of injustice in his / her life. Luke 7:11-15. We shall be using sanctification as a tool for restoration. Sanctification means the following. 1. To make something holy. 2. To make something right or legal. 3. To give an official approval to something. Explanations. 1. To be Holy: -This means an effective connection with God, while connecting with God means absent of sin in one`s life. Ps 24:1-5, Rom 12:1, Exo 19:22, Lev 11:44, II Cor 7:1, Eph 1:4. 2. To make something right or legal. This implies having the same mind and the same insight with God. In other words it`s like walking on the same track with God. Ezekiel 36:22-28. 3. To give an official approval to something. This also means getting the consent or the backing of God. Ezekiel 37:1-10, Isa 45:2-3.
