PRAY FOR LEADERS! BELIEVERS IN LEADERSHIP; SERVE WILLINGLY NOT AS A MUST! LIVE BY THE WORD OF GOD!!! I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV Religion and politics? Somebody asked! Let humans learn to be fair and sincere for a change! Everyone talks about and is involved in politics in one way or the other! But the moment a servant of God comments on political issues, he/she gets labeled! Let us examine Gods Word as above and reflect on it! If God does not want servants of God to be involved in politics, why would He ask us to pray for leaders? When things happen in politics and servants of God say nothing, they still get blamed and labeled; so its a no win situation. Just be focused on Your Commander as a servant of God; He is the One you must please not any man. Learn to ignore the ignorance of men and women who think they alone possess wisdom! God, continue please to Direct the steps of Your servants in Jesus Name. Amen!!! To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christs sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of Gods flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 1 Peter 5:1-3 NIV When you serve as an elder believer, you should do it willingly; not as though compelled as a must! God Knows the role money can play in the life of human beings. Money can turn a saint into a monster in the twinkle of an eye! Do not be greedy; and dont lord it over those under your care. Lead by example. Servant leadership as Jesus Christ modeled perfectly is the best option in the Eyes of God! Lord, Help us to obey Your Word; so we can live successfully and effectively for Your Names sake in Jesus Name I pray. Amen!!! Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:7,8 NASB Imitate the faith of the faithfuls who preach the Word of God to you. So, you cannot afford to follow anyone blindly; you must watch their lives very closely and be sure they practice what theyre preaching to you! You will see and experience the results of their conduct; then if positively spiritual in Jesus Light, then imitate! Otherwise, dont even bother! Its very dangerous to imitate the ways of a person that is fake or makes claims of following Jesus unmatched with their lifestyle and daily living! Lord, Help us to make the right choices and decisions in the Faith in Jesus Name. Amen!!! But about the resurrection of the dead - have you not read what God said to you, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead but of the living. When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching. Matthew 22:31-33 (NIVUK) God is not a God of the dead but rather of the living! My pastor preached this to me many years ago. I saw him several years later and he changed his message to Gods a God of both the living and the dead. I disagreed politely! We get into superior wisdom when we do not remain humble in our disposition to the Word of God! We are overpowered with intellect; this works against the very core essence of faith! Be careful what you believe! Do not add to or take away from the Word of the Living God or you pay dearly! Help us o Lord; that we might live according to Your Holy Word daily in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (3) Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. (4) But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:3-4 Satan always attacks the believers mind! You have to be bold, strong, focused and courageous in your faith; otherwise you may lose it! Your mindset will be challenged and attacked; sometimes relentlessly! You must stand firm and remain standing in the Faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Many live for their stomachs; and will do anything it takes to fill their stomach - no matter how good or bad! The believer must live in, for and by the Word of the Living God alone at all times! Jesus Conquered satan with and in the Word of the Living God! Remember also that satan knows the Word of God and will try hard to use it against you as well! Father, Grant us wisdom in Jesus Christ to overcome the wiles of the devil in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
