I would also like to pray for our students, they are challenged daily by their peers and want them to stay strong in their beliefs and their faith! JUST A THOUGHT He who is greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself [with haughtiness and empty pride] shall be humbled (brought low), and whoever humbles himself [whoever has a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly] shall be raised to honor. Matthew 23:11–12 AMP God is never impressed with what we have accomplished, it is by His grace that we are breathing at all. God is not impressed with how many people attend your church, He placed them there. God is not impressed with your giving, what you have came from Him. The way to greatness in God’s eyes is by humbling yourself. Jesus said, “the least of you will be the greatest” (Luke 9:48). Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less (C.S. Lewis). Jesus washed the feet of His disciples when they would not wash His. Though He was the greatest, He acted as the lowest and put their needs above His own. We each have our assigned part and the kingdom of God works upside-down from the kingdom of man. You may impress God with your humility, obedience and love, but not with your accomplishments, position, or status. When you learn to let it go, He will take care of it. When you humble yourself and submit to God, He will raise you up. When you give to Him, He will multiply it and give it back. When you take care of others, He will take care of you. ROMANS 12:1 1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
