PRAYER FOR AMERICA Forgive us Lord for how far this nation has fallen from your truth. We have sown discord instead of sowing Love and Wisdom. Thank you Holy Spirit for showing us the error of our ways. We now come against the evil that is destroying this nation and lives of our people. We Bind the Spirit of Divination for rebellion is the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is an iniquity and idolatry.(1 Samuel 15:23) We release the Holy Spirit to heal the wounds of the soul and the brokenhearted. We Bind the Spirit of Jealousy because hatred stirs up strife(Proverbs 10:12) and an angry man stirs up strife (Proverbs 29:22). We release the Love of God so that we may walk in love, as Christ loved us and has given Himself for us (Ephesians 5:2). We Bind the Lying Spirit and let those lips be put to silence (Psalm 31:18). Because the Lord hates a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans,feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among his brothers (Proverbs 6:16-19). We release the Spirit of Truth who will guide us into all truth (John 16:13) Lord we bind the Spirit of Pride, because he who is of a proud heart stirs up strife(Proverbs 29:8) and scoffers set a city aflame (Proverbs 29:8). We release a Humble and Contrite Spirit and we humble ourselves in Your sight and you shall lift us up (James 4:10). We bind the Spirit of Bondage, for I see that America is poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity (Acts 8:23). We release the Spirit of Adoption for we did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear but received the Spirit of Adoption (Romans 8:15) We come against and Bind the Spirit of the Antichrist and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ had come in the flesh (1 John 4:3). We release the Spirit of Truth because we are of God and by this we know the Spirit of Truth and Error.(1 John 4:6) We Bind the Spirit of Error, for where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. (James 3:16). We release the Spirit of Truth to create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us (Psalm 51:10) In Jesus name, Amen
