PRAYER FOR THE FLOODINGS: Our dear heavenly Father, we come before You today to praise You, adore You, magnify Your Name. Lord, You are beautiful beyond description...too marvelous for words..too wonderful for comprehension like nothing ever seen or heard. We humbly bow down before You oh God to seek for Your forgiveness. Cleanse our hearts that we may be worthy to come into Your throne room of grace. See our hearts oh Lord and cleanse us from all iniquities and unrighteousness. Make our hearts right with You. Create in us a clean spirit and a contrite heart oh Lord. Make us worthy to call upon Your Name today, as we lift up to You the needs of the Filipino people. We need You most right now more than ever Lord. Father, You alone know what has become of our brethren in Luzon. Hundreds of our Filipino people have been affected by the floodings Lord. We pray particularly for our brethren in Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Marikina, Bataan, Laguna, Pampanga, Zambales, Muntinlupa, Malabon, and Rizal; our people who have lost their homes, their farms, properties, livelihood, businesses and all they ever possessed. As the rains stop, and the floods recede, many things need to be done oh God. Help our people start all over again. Meet their needs everyday and send help not only from the government agencies but even from those who are more blessed, to share their time, effort, and material things to those who need them most. Restore what the calamity has taken away oh God. Lord, even for those families who lost their loved ones particularly the families who were covered with mud during the landslides. Comfort them oh God, let them feel Your love and compassion for them. Now, more than ever, may they seek You first and know that You are God. That You are the God, even of the floods. That You are the God, even of calamities. That even in the midst of all these difficulties, You are there, Your hand is upon them and You are in control. Let them not lose hope and faith in You oh Lord. Let this time make them realize that they need You and You alone. Show them that You love them and care for them. Let righteousness reign in the land and its people oh God. Now, more than ever, let them examine their hearts and their lives. Let repentance be in our hearts so we can see that You send the storms to prove to us that You are the ONLY shelter we can take refuge in! We thank you Father God, that unworthy as we are, we are able to call upon Your Name and ask for our needs. We believe Lord that You reign supreme inspite of the circumstance we are in at the moment. We thank You Lord that You are good all the time. We thank You that You are alive and You are a prayer-answering God. You are worthy oh Lord. Worthy of all our praise and thanksgiving. We love You, we adore You. We bring You back all the honor, all the praise, all the thanksgiving, and all the glory that You alone deserve. IN THE MIGHTY, MOST POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS WE PRAY. AMEN and AMEN!
