PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING By Cindy Mesa Lord, I thank you for this day that you have made for me. In the trial of my faith you are my strength and constant companion. There is no other God besides you; you have given me grace to give you praise and glory in the midst of the heaviness that comes with this trial. As the Hebrew children were in the midst of the fiery furnace, they did not cease to praise you, and you did not forsake them. I am grateful that I may show the true expression as a child of the King through my praise and worship. You know all things concerning me and how I am in need of patience. The nutrition that you place within me supplies the energy to endure such a trial. I am delighted that you are changing my heart and renewing a right spirit within me. I am blessed to keep my eyes on the prize and not on the circumstances. You reward those that seek you and place their trust in you, the only wise God. I rejoice in the grace that I have found in the fellowship of suffering for your name’s sake. Your grace has supplied me with the inheritance of joy and peace. The enemy desires to place roots of bitterness and doubt by allowing me to believe I have failed. I will not give place to these lies, but I will sing a new song and give thanks for your holiness. I am comforted by your compassion towards me and reassured of the victories while I yet praise you. * PRAYER INSIGHT By Don Grigsby The daily bread of Gods spoken word and praise are the feast that the Lord prepares in the presence of our enemies before us. Just as the Hebrew children, we will refuse to partake in the praise of earthly images. This is what delivered them in the fiery furnace. They had already refused to eat the kings meat and were found to be 10 times better than what the best in this world could do. God will see to it that we are blessed ten times more than all this worlds best as we boldly declare what Jesus Christ is in our lives.
