PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING By Milton Rodriguez Lord, I am so grateful that you called me to be a part of the parade of praise! You are the great God of glory and I will magnify you in unison with my brothers and sisters. We will collectively open up our gates of praise to let you in. Today is the day of salvation and you are salvation so it is your day. It is your day every day for you make every day; therefore, I rejoice and I am glad each and every day. You are the day spring that has arisen in my heart. I worship your mighty name for there is no other name under heaven, given among men that bring salvation. You are the Savior of the whole world and you saved us through your sinless life, crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection. I believe in you and in the completed work of Calvary. I have died to my old lifestyle, been buried with you in baptism through your name and you have sealed me with your Holy Spirit as your purchased possession. Now, I lift up my head from all of my problems, difficulties, frailties, and shortcomings for you have imputed righteousness unto me through my faith in you and what you already did. I am so thankful that you are my wonderful Savior who is full of compassion, and is touched with my feelings. I appreciate your expressions of mercy and grace unto me. No longer do I live in the castle of condemnation, but now I live in the city of grace. I am no longer counted a sinner, but I have your righteousness imputed unto me. Death and hell are not my lot, but heaven and life everlasting. I celebrate your holy name for you forgave me, reconciled me, and saved me by laying down your life and taking it up again. * PRAYER INSIGHT By Don Grigsby If we have gates of praise in our lives, we will have walls of salvation and protection against the attacks of every negative influence in our lives. As we live in the atmosphere and the realm of worship and praise, we will see the King come through the gates into the everyday of our lives. When he comes in, we lift up our heads and our spirits. We are not left to wallow in the mud holes of worry. We are standing on the wonders of his word, and we will forever praise him. Judgment and condemnation are strangers to our dwelling places, and we will not hear the voice of strangers!
