PRAYERS AND GOOD WISHES FOR TARA, THE DOG THROWN FROM A CAR ON THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY: The dog who was thrown from the car on the GSP is being called Tara after New Jersey State Police Trooper Tara Karagias who responded and rushed the dog to the SPCA. Based on the severe condition of the dog, Trooper Karagias then rushed her to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital where she is currently being treated. “By her [the state trooper] racing it over to the Red Bank animal hospital, they were able to control the internal bleeding,” Buddy Amato said. “The dog would have went into shock and died if she didn’t do that.” Amato said the dog is being called Tara after the brave state trooper.
