PRAYERS PT. 1 A mother prays for her child at the foot of a tear-stained bed. An elderly person sits in a wheelchair interceding for their church. A grand mother kneels at the kitchen sink to pray for her grandchildren. A young woman sits in a classroom, whispering a prayer fro a friend, and a little boy places his hand on his sick puppy and prays. Prayer is simply talking to God. Lofty words and pious phrases are unnecessary -- only a pure, honest, and sincere heart matters. Gods power is unleashed through prayer. So pray often, anywhere, anytime. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
