He is recognized by the Indian government (He was awarded the Padma Shree, the equivalent of the Legion of Honour) and by connoisseurs as the grand master of improvisation in the interpretation of Ragas. It also has the art of making his music accessible to beginners without compromising purity and the most intimate touch all audiences. It has already happened in many prestigious venues in Asia, Europe, USA etc.. and also lectures, master classes and private concerts.
