What are some of the things you learned how to do from your mom? I learned how to embroidery, how to find a good seamstress--there is nothing fun about watching a woman rip material out of a sewing machine and stomp it;) I learned that R is for reverse, not ram it, and you should do it while looking and slowly. If I ever have to, I could can vegetables, make jelly, have hens, or refinish furniture. I learned how to entertain myself, books were always available and she always made sure I had art supplies:)
