PREPARE TO LIVE The life that you are currently living, sets the tone for time to come; A time of great sorrow for most, a time of great rejoicing for some. Our physical life is only temporal, a time for us to make preparation; A time for getting ready for death, and our soul’s eternal separation. As we go through the events of each day, it is God that we are to serve; When we are diligently following God, Satan will try to throw us a curve. We must stay alert and ever watchful, for the snares that Satan will lay; Being mindful that he seeks our destruction, whether we be at work or at play. Our physical life is our testing ground, where our faith in God we do prove; Whether we will remain steadfast to God, or if from Him we do easily move. God truly wants all mankind to be saved, His desire is that no one ever be lost; To make this goal even remotely possible, God sent His Son to pay sin’s cost. It is during our physical time on earth, that the gospel of Christ we must obey; Because our life is so brief and uncertain, one should obey the gospel without delay.
