Special Olympics Project UNIFY is a U.S. Department of Education project funded through the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) since 2008 and works directly with all students, specifically students with Intellectual Disabilities (ID). Project UNIFY is a K-12 strategy that focus on social inclusion and is currently involved with more than 650,000 students, in over 2,500 schools across 42 states. This project takes a whole school approach engaging every student (with and without disabilities) and every teacher (general and special education) in the school setting. Please take the opportunity to attend and listen, ask questions and better understand the impact of this project. This presentation is open to the public.
