Design: Web Motorsports has created both front and rear solid motor mount inserts to replace the stock OEM-style rubber engine mount inserts for racing or the serious street enthusiasts [due to increased cabin vibrations]. CNC’d from 6061-T6 aircraft billet aluminum, these are designed to stop torque loss, a common result of excessive engine movement caused by stock flexible rubber engine mount inserts. Linkages also operate smoother when limiting engine movement. These solid inserts remove the need for bulky torque straps and chains and also eliminate wheel hop, which is a culprit of front-wheel drive cars. Elongated chamfered edges make for a seamless install into the OEM bracket. What does this mean to you?: Take-off power that is lost during engine “twist” (lift) can be concentrated directly to the ground when the engine is restrained. This means that horsepower is unlocked and transferred directly to the wheels rather than being lost in unnecessary and violent engine movement. When contained, the car maintains a consistent geometry and is able to perform as designed with the tires planted firmly to the ground. Who does this affect most?: N/A Hyundai Tiburons will notice an immediate difference, although, the forced induction group is who these are truly designed for.
