The President attended thisimportant Summit at the invitation of US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle. The Summit which was attended by over 30 African Heads of State and Government focused on the theme ‘Investing in the Next Generation” and how the leaders can together sustain Africa’s transformation. The plane carrying the State President will arrive atKamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe at around 11:00 hours. And on Tuesday August 12, 2014, the President will hold a press briefing following the trip, at Kamuzu Palace from 2p.m.
