PRESS RELEASE RENOWNED ANGEL AMIENYI BID TO RELEASE HER SECOND ALBUM WITH Majestic PRAISE/WORSHIP TO AN INCREDIBLE GOD IN MARCH 2014 Music for me is an important element of praise and worship. Some people see gospel music as entertainment; No, I see it as a vehicle for ministry and worship to the Most High God. I don’t consider myself a musician or singer, although am learning to play the organ, but I understand the power of music. Gospel music is life, and one of the reasons I love Gospel music so much is that it sets the atmosphere on fire for worship to our God. Doing a CD was out of my element, but I knew it was something that the Lord wanted me to do long time ago. Inspired by a sermon preached by my Pastor that it is not too late to start anything in life. The CD features the exceptional vocal skills of Producer ‘Petersong’, and his team of dedicated singers who are notable Gospel recording artists. The CD titled, ‘Praise the Lord’, is an uplifting, praise-influenced tune written in some local dialects. “Is something wrong?” is another great track. Any backslider or believer struggling with God will find their faith back after this inspiring and encouraging cut. “Is something wrong?” will have the listener give up worldly pleasure and returning back to God. My first CD was written for those who have challenges and are asking God questions in their hearts, having been through life’s unexpected tragedies myself and having experienced the healing of body and soul that only God can bring, I wrote the lyrics by the help of the Holy Spirit to encourage someone passing through life challenges. My second is about repentance and praise to the almighty God who has done great and marvelous things for His children. They are, Dunim hoho, Nagode Allah, Is there something wrong? Only You, am a soldier of the cross etc. All songs are original and written by Angel Amienyi Angel wants God’s people to be made whole while lifting up holy hands in worship; listeners will be blessed once listening to the CD. My kind of music offers something a little different than what’s currently on the shelves. When people listen to PRAISE THE LORD, one of the first things they’ll notice is the variety of tone. The record has powerful indigenous sounds which comprises of praise and worship tracks. My prayer is that each time someone listens to this project, they will experience God in His awesome power with each of the songs.”
