PRESS STATEMENT OF GOV AMADO T ESPINO, Jr. Yesterday afternoon, at about 5:30pm, two men riding in tandem followed Ms. Judith Santillan from her office at the capitol and fired shots at her as she was about to enter her house in Guilig St., Lingayen. She sustained serious injuries in the abdomen and other parts of the body. She is now confined at the hospital and undergoing the needed surgical procedures to save her life. We condemn in strongest terms this latest act of violence inflicted upon a totally defenseless, peace-loving and easily one of the most hard working senior employees of the provincial treasurers office. We hereby call upon the PNP Provincial command to GIVE full ATTENTION TO SOLVING this violent incident, conduct a full-dress investigation, and exert all means to identify and arrest these criminals immediately.
