PRESTIGIOUS LEADERSHIP MUST BE FIRM AND DECISIVE: When you are to deal with a group of political cannibals, thugs, rogues and drug lords, who are absolutely determined , at any cost or consequences, never to surrender to Justice and Rule of Law, the Leader on the Opposition, cannot preach international law, human rights etc., to convince the Mafia Regime forcefully in power.............Quite frankly , I am still very reluctant to surrender my conviction of hope and loyalty for democratic reform and its true values with immense benefit to the common people including justice for all, for certain serious political blunders of the MDP Leadership..... Instead , I am rather determined still, to see it , reform and fine-tune the weaknesses.............Let me be quite blunt on my political observation as a man who has seen Maldives Politics at the closest for 4 decades..........A Leader must maintain impartiality to every citizen, behave and act Presidential respecting Protocol he is obliged to follow as a President but not as a Political activist.....Certainly , MDP Leader, is very kind, intelligent and a dedicated politician, who has made several sacrifices to implement democracy in the Maldives, He is dedicated to the common people for a better life, housing for the needy, medical facilities for all, financial contribution to the elderly, etc., He certainly has a vision and a mission to accomplish for the betterment of the common people of Maldives.....but Political maturity is absolutely essential and need more practical recognition of religious and cultural values that is quite critical, though those who preach so, dont practice much of it....After all, that is the cultural hypocrisy of Maldives too..............Finally I must also mention that some of the most devoted elderly in the islands and in Male have heard and seen certain eventualities they simply find it so hard to digest and tolerate..........................
