PRIMES-USA is a free, year-long research program for high school - TopicsExpress

PRIMES-USA is a free, year-long research program for high school juniors from across the United States (see web.mit.edu/primes/PrimesUSA.shtml). Program participants work on exciting unsolved problems in mathematics. They have weekly telecons with their mentors, MIT graduate students, and also visit MIT 2-3 times a year. The deadline for PRIMES-USA is November 15, 2013. PRIMES-USA is part of a larger program, MIT PRIMES, which includes sections for local students. PRIMES students have won multiple awards at national science competitions and prestigious scholarships, and have authored many research papers submitted to or already published by academic journals.
