WHY ISLAM PROHIBIT GREETING MARRY CHRISTMAS?? On 25th December, Christian celebrates the Birthday of Jesus Christ (pbuh) as begotten son of GOD... By wishing Merry Christmas one agrees that Jesus Christ (pbuh) is begotten son of GOD which is Shirk (associating partner with ALLAH).... As clearly mentioned in the Holy Quran.... He begets not, nor was He begotten. Surah Al-Ikhlas - Absoluteness | Chapter # 112 | Verse # 3 And Shirk is heinous sin of all as mentioned in Holy Quran.... ALLAH forgives not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgive anything else, to whom He please; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed... Surah An-Nisa - The Women | Chapter # 4 | Verse # 48 Verily, whosoever sets up partners (do shirk) with ALLAH, ALLAH has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. Surah Al-Maeda - The Table Spread | Chapter # 5 | Verse # 72 Secondly It is not permissible for any Muslim to join or cooperate in the festivals of the Non Believers....as mentioned in Hadith.. Who imitates non-Muslims he is one of them... [Imams Ahmad and Abu Dawood]. The Prophet (peace be upon him) warned us against imitating them and adopting their ways.... Hence a Muslim should not greeting anyone on this occasion or get involve to receive greetings.. It is an integral part of our faith to reject celebrations that lead to misguidance and alterations in faith. It is our basic right to protect our faith and practice from distortion and falsehood.... from: Islaam quran & hadith
