PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR EDUCATORS: Art 21: Art in the 21st Century Season 3 Screening Thursday, September 11, 2014 - 5:30-6:30pm Living Arts will offer a series of screenings of the amazing PBS video series “Art 21: Art in the 21st Century” showing the most contemporary artists right now. The screenings take place the second Thursday of each month at Living Arts for Middle and High School Art Teachers or those who would like to learn more about Contemporary Art forms and Artists. Each Screening will start with an Introduction by one of the members of the Living Arts Education Committee. This will be followed by a 20 minute screening of a contemporary artist from the Art 21 Series. After the screening, there will be a discussion and teachers will be given the link to downloading lesson plans if they would like to teach a lesson in their classroom using the information just learned.
