PROGRESS: ARE WE MARCHING BACKWARDS? By Tim Powers. Ever since the dawning of our great nation, our rights, Liberty and Freedom have been guaranteed by our Founding Documents. Our government was designed as a three branch system for the sole purpose of securing these rights and to protect each and every one of us under the law as it is created. Not so much anymore. Just over one hundred years ago, the progressive ideology was started by the Republicans. I believe that their original intentions were valid. To see that every man, woman and child was properly taken care of in order to create a strong America. Unfortunately, with the rise of Communism and Facism during the war years, the movement was co-opted by the Democrat party at which time, portions of these other ideologies were included into the original plan in order to give the elites in government all control over the people. A direct opposite of what our Founding documents stand for. Now that the Progressives have a foot hold on America, lets see where we are at. The 1960s were in turmoil over the civil rights movement but, at the end of the day, cool heads prevailed which led to ALL people being treated equally under the law. Also in the 1960s, President John F. Kennedy, took on the task of putting a man on the moon. A task that was achieved through the ingenuity of American scientists. Since that time, modern technology has grown in leaps and bounds. Now, lets see where we are now. The civil rights that Martin Luther King Jr. fought so hard to achieve have been turned upside down by progressives such as Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder, Michelle Obama, the Muslim/ Communist plant in the white house, Barack Hussein Obama, and the rest of his regime. The riots in Ferguson Missouri are just an example of this. NASA has been turned into a Muslim out reach center instead of continuing with space exploration, and technology has produced the Apple smart phone, which is slowly turning people into idiots. If this is progress, then I would prefer America as she was founded. We must, as Americans, endeavor to restore the America that was by the people and for the people. The original recipe is what made America great, unfortunately, there are now to many cooks in the kitchen. The time is NOW to stand for our original American values and principles and to put an end what the elite refer to as progress. As always fellow Patriots, stay safe and be aware of your surroundings.
