PROJECT INDIAN-Jan. 3rd: No - Im not using a Bungee Cord to permanently mount the battery box- Geez, thats what the duct tape is for!!! 😂 I bent the plate/shield that is welded to the downtubes of the frame to cradle the box [more for clean aesthetics than any weight support] and will drill two holes into and through the cross member and front of the box to hold it. There will be some strategic cutting on the box to give a more pleasing appearance also. Once everything is right and proper, well paint it. In related news, I pulled apart the air filter housing, polished the chrome bits and ground the old paint off the faces. They will get primed and painted all glossy and pretty. Why do much work on something youll barely see? Ummm...😬 ... Cause.
