PROTECTION PT. 3 As women, we walk with caution to our car or on the street at night. We warn our daughters to guard themselves against possible intruders or attacks. Mothers use child-safety products to protect toddlers from harm, and teach our children to avoid strangers and to look both ways before crossing the street. Similarly, God protects us. He provides a refuge in lifes storms with the assurance that He is with us in every situation. He takes extra precaution to guide, assist, instruct, and each day. PSALM 55:22 1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. PSALM 46:1-3 27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, ‘Destroy them!’ DEUTERONOMY 33:27 9 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
