PROUDEST COACH ON EARTH! Amazingly astoundingly proud is probably the best way to describe how Im feeling with everyones effort over at CF kotahi opening comp. Every single one of you were impressive and all had your own individual moments to shine, working as more than a team but a Whaanau kotahi, epitomizing our box. Our beginners finished in 4th place Intermediate with a 3rd Advanced also in 3rd A few things out of our control meant the difference between 3rd and 2nd, but thats life, take it on the chin and fight another day. Our advance team got to throw down against some of NZ best, athletes that have represented NZ at CF regionals, only to be edged out by a couple of points. Myself, Gaz and Flynn are so proud of you all and you all should be proud of yourselves too. The thing I love about comps is they expose your weaknesses, use this as a lesson to help improve your training. Some standout moments for me would have to be young tutus dB snatch being twice his body weight. Amy Unuwai cracking 50+ handstand push ups in 2 mins. Shannon James gymnastics and heart, stepping up to advance. Uncle B and Uncle Joe monstering what ever was in front of them. And our beginner girls Lah and Nicole eating up their competition. Tana and Gaz show casing their class. All in all what a great weekend, with great efforts and great people. CFRALLDAYBEH!
