PSA: I voted at 7:47p tonight and I was #310!!! While Im happy that 309 people got out and voted in my community, but I have at least 50 houses in my block and I am quite sure that there are more than 309 other people in my community. I bet that in the suburbs, they came out in record numbers, thats why their schools are still open and their property value is what it is. Because they care about the community they live in. People we GOTSTA do better!!! I hope I dont see those ignorant posts on my timeline saying you dont vote because your vote doesnt matter.... NEWS FLASH.... EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!! If you dont know, let as Sista school YA real quick...POTUS CANNOT DO IT ALONE, he needs help. You gotta see how they are trashing him on every front. So your vote for Gov, Senator, State Rep counts because they are the ones in DIRECT contact with your community... Some folks feel as if we(African American) dont care about each other anyway, but do we ALWAYS got to prove them right? So if you didnt vote, please dont be talking crap when the schools close, your child is racially profiled against, your grandma cant afford her meds, your streets are filthy, etc I can go on, but I will leave you with this... WE GOTTA DO BETTER YALL AS A COMMUNITY!!!!
