PSA: Okay, starting over at 43 is a tall order, YES but I am doing it! This said, I am tired of potential suitors telling me that I need to focus on my children (they are my #1priority and have been since the day they were born) and deal with my pending divorce. I have been dealing with this longer than you know. My husband has a lovely girlfriend whom he cares for dearly and I am VERY happy for both of them. I, too, am ready to move on with my life. In the past year, I have made HUGE changes in my life. I quit drinking, found a job that I love (after having been a stay at home mom for 12 years) and learning how to live by myself and share my children with Rodney and his new life. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY OF THIS AS AN EXCUSE NOT TO DATE OR SPEND TIME WITH SOMEONE I CARE TO SPEND TIME WITH. My divorce is final in March and life goes on. I am cool with this and anyone else should be too. I have thought long and hard about putting this out there publicly but I feel compelled to do so. I am happy with being ME and am finally feeling like myself again, but NEW AND IMPROVED!!! I have much to offer a friendship and otherwise. I DO NOT care to even entertain the thought of getting married again....too far from that! I DO, however, have time and desire to have a personal life again. Im not everyones cup of tea and yes, the next few months may be trying for me but I am more than prepared for the challenge. THE END.....OR RATHER, BEGINNING....THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY.
