PSA: People are going to lie to you. People are going to do things that they say they wont do, and say theyll do things that will never get done. People will tell you that they like the things that they really hate, and hate on the things that they really love. People close to you will hurt you deeper than those you keep at a distance. People are going to put their best interests ahead of yours. People are going to try to hold you back so that they can advance. In essence, people are going to be PEOPLE. The sooner we can learn to stop expecting human beings to go against human nature, the sooner we can start dealing with the people around us based on the REALITY of who they are, and not some idea about people that only exists in our heads. Human nature is not a bad thing. And, the more in touch you are with Actual Reality regarding people, the more power you have in Life. For, it gives you the ability to see beyond the fronts that people put up, and not get caught up in false beliefs about people, which eventually lead to your own hurt and frustration. When you learn to accept human nature, you become free to love all people for who they are, because you no longer hold on to false expectations about them, thus are no longer hurt or frustrated by people in the act of simply being people. ~Wize Shabazz
