PSA: over the past few months Ive gotten an abundance of messages and texts asking for veterinary advice. More than I have in the past 6 years. While Id LOVE to be able to help all of you, its become increasingly overwhelming. Remember, most questions I get do not warrant a simple yes or no response. Because Im not a doctor, I dont know all of the answers to all of your questions. Therefore, I have to check with a doctor and go back and forth before I have your answer. However, most answers wind up being you should schedule an appointment with your veterinarian anyway. On top of that, its illegal for a doctor to give true medical advice to pets that have never been examined at their vet hospital before. I suggest, if you havent already, developing a relationship with a local veterinarian (insert Swedesboro Animal Hospital plug here). You can ask their staff all of the same questions you ask me. Chances our, our answers will be synonymous. Unfortunately, there is no magic DIY potion to make your pet stop vomiting, there are no low cost clinics for sick animals, and I do not know all prices off the top of my head. I would say all of you are not my friends solely because I work at an animal hospital (at least I hope not) and I like keeping in touch with you when it doesnt have to do with work.. Lol. If you truly do have veterinary related questions for me, please feel free to contact me while I am at work and Id be glad to help. After all, it is my job! If its an emergency, my job is open 24/7 so feel free to walk in at anytime without an appointment. And I PROMISE if youre a human doctor, I wont ask you to diagnose my health concerns without an appointment... If youre a lawyer, I wont ask you for free legal advice.. And if youre an IT guy, I wont ask you how I can fix my computer without paying you to do it for me. I hope no one takes offense to this, thats not my intention! I still love you lil freaks!!!
