PSNI RECEIVES EMPLOYER AWARD & ADVERTISES NEW JOBS Ulster University recognised PSNI as a Highly Commended Placement Provider in the public sector. The employment awards were presented on Thursday night at a Gala event, in which Employment and Learning Minister, Dr. Stephen Farry, praised awardees for their work in developing students. Responding to the commendation, PSNI’s Director of Finance and Support Services, David Best, said, “We are especially pleased to be recognised by the University. Our Placement Students not only contribute to the delivery of core ICT services, but this programme also extends our engagement with communities and young people across Northern Ireland” PSNI was one of over 180 applications judged across 6 categories. This Commendation recognises PSNI as demonstrating excellence in its management of, and opportunities provided to, Placement Students within the ICT Branch.
