PTI should prepare for this scenario whenever the elections are - TopicsExpress

PTI should prepare for this scenario whenever the elections are held assalmu alaikum. hopefully someone plugged into the pti hierarchy be able to convey this information to them. This is relevant whether the election is held next year or in 2018 As I see it that PTI doesnt have a thug wing (student wing) which all other parties have. I know there is ISF but I am assuming that they are not armed and politicos to be posing as students (personal experience of 1 year in UET lahore). Additionally most supporters middle class and will not engage in violence. I think the powers that be in PTI should realize that if they study the crime families in NY (Mafia) and compare the current political families of pakistan there will be striking similarities. The Mafia commission actually divided up the turfs and one family would not encroach on the business of the other (Charter of democracy anyone ?). Mafia families also bought judges (google Teflon Don) and police in NY. It took a lot of infilitration by the police and special laws to cut them down to size. Even if a judge/RO is honest and not bought by the Sharifs/Zardaris, their arms can easily be twisted by threats to them or their family. How can PTI combat this ? My suggestion, and I doubt IK will ever accept this, is to do Rrntal Gulu Butts. This way they are paid for their muscle in and around elections to counter the Kun-Tuttas that PPP and PMLN will have at polling stations. They are let go of their services after elections. There is no expectation of jobs or other benefits to these thugs, but someone who has the muscle to go eyeball to eyeball with various Gullus in polling stations. Insaf/Tabdeeli Razakar will get killed, like one guy was killed in 2013. You fight fire with fire, but how to you stop that fire from consuming your own house. You built a moat around your house, this moat in my opinion is the renting these guys and not making them part of any structure of the party (ISF or otherwise). What are your thoughts on how PTI will have to tackle this challenge ?
