PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT : There has been a white van with possible red lettering/paint on the side. It has a door on the side with a padlock and a door on the back with a padlock. It has been seen driving around Mishawaka, through alleys, patrolling back yards. The driver was described as a white male, med build, 45-50 years old with a scruffy appearance. The van has dog cages in it and could be looking to take animals from yards. This IS NOT the Humane Society or any approved animal control. The Humane Societys vans are clearly marked as such. If you see this van or any suspicious activity, please call the police. If you can safely get the license place number that would be very helpful as well.
